Disconnect.

Once in a while it is good to "disconnect" to the world.

I was born when internet was just about to be spread across earth, literally. I had the slowest dial up yet I was satisfied, it gave me freedom to explore places ( virtually) that I've never been to and send messages to my friends who are oceans away. It was the best thing that happened to human advancement. We all went Hooraaah to technology. However, it is different now. It is still great since we can get in touch with our love ones not just by typing we can actually see them in real-time even they are away.

Although, this uninterrupted progress of technology is the best thing this generation have we also need to remember to not only connect with our social media life but also to literally connect with the REAL world, REAL people and REAL places.

Disconnecting to the (artificial ) world gives you time to rethink life, breath natural air, talk to people for hours , get the sun on your face and enjoy that moment rather just taking photos and missed the butterfly that just flew by.

Minimal living is not only through downsizing your things, but also detoxifying our life. Try to "disconnect" at home or work even for few hours. When you wake up instead of checking emails or social media, get up and meditate for 15 minutes and see how this few minutes can change your life.
